Aksenov: Crimean gambling zone will open in 2022

In 2022, a new gambling resort entertainment zone will open on the southern coast of the Crimean Peninsula. All documents for the opening of this ICRZ in Crimea will be agreed and signed by the end of this year. This was stated by the head of the Republics of Crimea Sergei Aksenov, reports the publication tass.ru.
“At the moment, we have drawn up all decisions on the Crimean gambling zone, by the end of this year, all documents on this ICRZ will be agreed and signed. We have already determined the place where the gambling zone will be located – this is a piece of land near the village of Katsiveli in the south of the peninsula, preparatory work is already being carried out there. In terms of the pace of work, this gambling zone will already be operational in 2022, and investors can make the Crimean ICRZ very attractive for foreign tourists, ”said Sergei Aksenov.
When asked by a journalist whether the sanctions of the European Union and the United States, which were introduced after the annexation of Crimea in 2014, would not frighten off foreign tourists, Aksenov said that he hoped that the sanctions would not affect the attendance of the gambling zone by guests from other countries, since the Crimean ICRZ , first of all, will be focused on foreign tourists with money.
