Apple announced that from August 20, all applications in the App Store for social gambling establishments will now have age restrictions 17+. This new rule from the American company has already entered into force for all jurisdictions. This is reported by the edition logincasino.com.
Reportedly, the age restrictions will apply to simulated gaming applications for social casinos. These are conditionally gambling games, in which you can participate completely free of charge without spending real money. Such games, which are being developed by well-known gambling content producers, include card games and free video slots. Apple also said that an agreement was reached with the South Korean authorities that simulated gaming applications marked 17+ in this country will be available to users upon reaching the age of 19. The company noted that they always go to meet countries whose authorities are asked to impose restrictions or remove certain content with gambling products. As an example, Apple cited an agreement with China, when in August last year, Apple banned access to four thousand gambling games for users from that country.
