Two of the last three applicants have submitted their comprehensive resort plans to the Nagasaki Prefectural Government.

Niki Chau Fwu Group and Casinos Austria International shared their vision with eight committee members and answered questions. And Oshidori International Holdings refused to participate in the license race to build an integrated casino resort.

Nagasaki committee members are to select their final candidate this month. By 2022, the prefecture will apply to the Japanese government for a permit to build an integrated resort.

A successful IR partner will have to pay 158 million yen ($ 1.5 million) to request the application process and 10 million yen ($ 92,000) for background checks.
