Betixon, an innovative mobile-focused developer, has applied for a license with the Hellenic Gaming Commission with plans to enter the Greek market later this year.
Mobile slot developer Betixon has successfully submitted a B2B production compliance license to the Greek Gambling Commission (HGC) as it aims to enter the new Greek market.
HGC has set a deadline of 7 May 2021 for all operators and suppliers who wish to serve the market in order to apply for a license or leave the jurisdiction. The developer has taken steps to ensure that it meets the requirements set by the HGC, including obtaining ISO27001 certification and obtaining a European gaming license. Betixon is also licensed by the UK Gambling Commission and ONJN Romania.
HGC is expected to issue licenses to operators over the next few months, and suppliers will receive their licenses at a later date. Betixon is confident that it meets the HGC requirements and will receive a license in due course, which will allow the company to offer its games to players on the Greek market for the first time.
Betixon has built an impressive reputation for creating engaging mobile games. Its Fortune Breakers series has proven to be particularly popular, with each slot boasting stunning visuals and animations combined with immersive gameplay and features. This developer’s games are available to operators in many regulated markets including the UK, Lithuania, Estonia, Italy, Colombia, Portugal and Romania.
Lior Cohen, co-founder and CTO of Betixon, said:
“Our strategy is based on entering regulated markets throughout Europe and beyond, providing our modern, innovative and highly engaging content to as many operator partners as possible. We see Greece as an exciting market with great growth potential now with proper regulatory and licensing regimes. ”
