Casino 36 fined £ 300,000 in UK

The British Gaming Commission fined the land-based gambling operator Casino36 £ 300,000 for violations of the UK gambling laws. This gambling operator violated several laws at once: Casino36 was accused of money laundering and non-compliance with social responsibility.
Wolverhampton-based Casino36 reportedly has not verified the identity of its visitors since November 2017. These checks were only resumed last October, in violation of the UK gambling code. Also, the land-based gambling operator Casino36 did not check its problem clients suffering from gambling addiction, thereby ignoring the program to protect such people.
In addition, the UK Gaming Commission has mandated Casino36’s management to send its employees to courses where they will study an anti-money laundering program.
