Gaming Innovation Group (GIG), registered in Stockholm, immediately stopped investing in the development of the Gig Games’s own studio.
Studio closing actions were taken to reduce the operating expenses of the Gaming Innovation Group, and at the same time return the group to the main directions for the development of technological platforms.
In a statement, GIG leadership reports that the closure of the game unit will save the company about 250,000 euros per month due to cash savings.
Richard Brown, Acting Director General of GIG, commented: "Decision to stop your own content production is a strategic choice that allows you to fully focus and use resources to become a choice platform for the Igaming Industry.
"Such actions are part of the recent strategic initiatives undertaken to reduce operating expenses that are not involved in marketing, along with our commitment to execution and profits. I would like to thank everyone who took part in creating our own games, for their contribution and dedication of the company ".
