Half of schoolchildren in Tbilisi play in online casinos

In the capital of Georgia, almost half of schoolchildren (48%) play online games on the Internet. This is evidenced by data from a survey conducted by the Center for Research on Games and Combating Gambling Addiction, reports ekhokavkaza.com.
Reportedly, about 500 children from 10 schools took part in the anonymous survey conducted, the age of the respondents was 14-18 years. According to the data received, 48% of schoolchildren learn about online casinos on the network, after which they start playing video slots and other games for money. At the same time, in the group of surveyed children aged 15 and over, 59% of schoolchildren already play such online games, among whom 44% are girls and 56% are boys.
The organization pays attention to the fact that children learn about online gambling from numerous online advertisements. In addition, there are outdoor advertising for money games near many schools in Georgia.
