In Kiev, the police closed five underground casinos

Law enforcement officers in Kiev have identified and stopped the illegal activities of five underground casinos, where gambling was carried out for money. Four gambling establishments carried out their activities in the Dnieper district of the capital, another casino worked illegally in the Solomensky district, the prosecutor’s office of the city of Kiev reports.

It is reported that the police in the Dnieper district of Kiev found four underground gambling halls. All these casinos accepted visitors only upon a preliminary call. One casino on Prazhskaya Street worked for several days, when police officers raided it with a search, there were 13 people in the casino hall. Another gambling hall was also located on Prazhskaya Street, but was just getting ready to receive gamblers.

Also, law enforcement officers stopped the illegal activities of an underground gambling establishment located on Chokolovsky Boulevard in the Solomensky district of Kiev.

During searches of all premises where gambling establishments were located, the police found and seized more than 120 computers with special software for gambling.

On all the facts of the organization and conduct of illegal gambling, criminal proceedings have been opened. As part of the pre-trial investigation, law enforcement officers establish the circle of persons involved in the organization of illegal business.
