Over fifty Singaporeans arrested for illegal gambling

In Singapore, law enforcement officials, supported by the Central Bureau of Narcotics, arrested 53 people (47 men and 6 women) between the ages of 20 and 79 for gambling crimes.

Reportedly, those detained for crimes related to illegal gambling will face a $ 5,000 fine and six months in prison if proven guilty in court. Also, 12 men were detained during a special operation for violating immigration laws, and four women were arrested on charges of prostitution. One woman and 9 men were detained on suspicion of drug trafficking. During the searches, 235 grams of drugs and $ 3,567 were seized.
